![]() ![]() ![]() So why haven't revolvers been "updated" to a more ergonomic design? The traditional curved grips don't fit my hand too well - and are too short for my big mitts besides. I'm quite sure additional practice would help a lot - but. I found it to be MUCH harder to control than the 9mm Luger (or any other semi-auto that I've tried for that matter) - recoil was similar to the 9mm, but the seemingly non-ergonomic grips coupled with the higher bore axis just wasn't doing it for me (both guns have 4 inch bbls). ![]() Long story short: This isn't the first time I've shot the Security Six, but it is the first time I've shot it with a little bit of knowledge of what I was doing and the first time I've shot it in 2 or 3 years. 22, a WW II era Luger in 9mm, and a Ruger Security Six revolver in. This is, I'm sure, a sta-hoooooooopid n00b question, so bear with me. ![]()
